Out of the dark comes divine perfection. In this new collection, I refined my palette.

Contrasting black and red against her skin tones for a strong bold contemporary look. Her only cover is her red satin gloves against her skin, but it seem as though she is confident and comfortable to be on display. There is a strong directional light source, minimal background combining together to help create form and shadows. These shapes meander through her every contour and they accentuate her natural curves. Prominent contrasting tones are exaggerated by using darker shades against highlighted areas.

In each painting there is a new sexual confidence and allure as she poses for the viewer. Once captured, her mystery is transferred to canvas. There is a sense of certainty and performance with her every pose. Taking lead from many of my paintings, her face is hidden and her anonymity is again forefront. This allows the viewer to perhaps place themselves or even their loved one as the subject.
